3D-Fuel Tough Pro PLA+ is the best PLA filament for 3D printing your most demanding projects. When you're looking for a tough PLA with excellent temperature resistance that prints as smooth as butter, 3D-Fuel Tough Pro PLA+ is the material for you.
Manufactured in the US from genuine NatureWorks™ 3D870 Ingeo PLA, Tough Pro PLA+ offers a third-generation level of material engineering for 3D printing. Since it's a NatureWorks PLA material, it's a sustainably sourced bio-plastic with an incredible eco-profile.
Test parts were 3D printed on a Bambu Lab X1C at 0.2mm layer height with no annealing. A 1kg standard weight was used for the drop test.

You can anneal your design after 3D printing for even better heat resistance and impact toughness. One of the big questions we often get about Tough Pro PLA+ is about heat resistance, especially in a scenario like a hot car.
You can gain the maximum heat resistance by annealing your 3D print (furthest print from camera), but that's not always practical or feasible to do, especially as the part shrinks 1-2% during the annealing process and needs to be tightly constrained in a gypsum or salt flour to reduce warping.
But, even without annealing, you can see that the Tough Pro PLA+ part resists heat much better than the Standard PLA+ (nearest to the camera). In some ways, in this test, the Tough Pro PLA+ part (middle part) is partially annealing in the temperature ramp-up. This is why customers state that it can work great even in a hot car in the desert of Arizona!

Across multiple production facilities, ensuring we maintain consistent quality for every spool.

We use a multi-axis laser measurement system to ensure a diameter tolerance is +/- 0.02 mm.

We 3D print what we manufacture to ensure that our filament provides the best quality possible.

"Nice quality and color is great. Getting the covid discount was really nice when I was printing “ear saver” mask extensions. Thanks again!"
"Awesome filament! I like how it has a matte finish and it prints really well! 3D Fuel is on my short list of favorite filament!"
"The material is great to work with and prints well at 210-215 degree C . This material produces really nice and consistent prints. One of the best thing with the 3D Fuel materials is that they provide, on the box, the average diameter of the material. Using this number in my settings has given me perfect results every time."
"Best there is"
"Super strong, especially after annealing. I just printed a project box at 85mm/s and it came out perfect on my Ender 3 pro. I have multiple rolls of Pro PLA, it's that good!"
