Print Settings

Most Generic PLA profiles will work fine for 3D-Fuel Standard PLA+.

However, at 3D-Fuel, we're working to develop optimized Standard PLA+ profiles for as many popular 3D printers as possible. Unfortunately, we're unable to cover every single 3D printer brand, model, and upgrade permutation.

We have ourĀ developed profiles available here for download, but if you have a 3D printer we don't have a profile for yet, you can easily create one using the steps below:

  • Start with a generic PLA profile
  • Recommended Printing Temperature:Ā 220-240C
  • Recommended Bed Temperature:Ā 0-60C
  • Bed Surface:Ā Smooth or Textured PEI, BuildTak, WhamBam
  • Recommended Print Speed:Ā 60 ā€“ 250 mm/s
Drying

Dry filament is happy filament!

  • Drying Temp: 50 Ā°C
  • Drying Time: 6-8 hours

Please store Standard PLA+ in an airtight container with desiccant, when possible.

Wet filament can result in a poor surface finish on your printed part and may even contribute to clogged nozzles.

Standard PLA+ Is A Superb Go-To 3D Filament

Standard PLA+ is a basic, entry-level PLA filament. It's available in a broad color selection and uses only virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043d PLA resin. No fillers or stretchers means a more predictable 3D printing experience. Because we don't use fillers, the ideal print temp might be 5-10C higher than your current PLA settings. Our Standard PLA+, or Polylactic Acid, is among the most popular 3D printing materials worldwide because it is easy to print and strong. Standard PLA+ is a hard plastic that produces a barely noticeable, but quite pleasant, sugary smell when extruding. The broad color selection and ease of printing make it an ideal choice for printing in a multi-color 3D printing system like the Bambu Lab AMS.
